Hi, I'm Richard Borges, a back-end engineer and cyber-defence practitioner from Brazil. I architect mission-critical systems and help defend them against advanced persistent threats.
I started coding at 14. By 17, I had joined a corporate Red Team, where I spent five years in offensive security. Today, my work spans cyber defence, incident response, critical-system resilience, and back-end architecture in high-pressure environments. Some operational work is intentionally described at a high level due to confidentiality, safety, and attribution constraints.
I have reinforced back-end architectures in financial-sector environments, aligning systems with zero-trust principles, high availability, and graceful degradation under hostile traffic.
I am also deeply involved in the open-source gaming community, contributing to projects such as CFX.re (FiveM, RedM) and Open.mp. Resilient architecture, clean code, and security-first thinking are not trade-offs. They are the foundation.
Sensitive operational references are available under appropriate confidentiality conditions.
